Harbinger, the company known for its industry-leading innovations like their patented WristWrap and FlexFit introduces the Big Grip - the newest breakthrough in weight training gloves.
The Big Grip features Harbinger’s latest innovation, Dura-Grip – a set of rubber finger and palm pads that resemble a big animal’s paw. The pads have been positioned with biomechanical expertise to protect weightlifters’ hands and improve their grip. The rubber pads grab the lifting bar, providing a "no-slip" grip. They also provide extra padding, which prevents the blisters and calluses of "bodybuilder hands."
"Here at Harbinger we know that the serious lifter, the guy who is in the gym at least every other day doing the heavy lifting, has special needs," said Harbinger President David McCrane. "That’s who we designed this glove for. It helps the heavy lifters get additional cushioning and traction which allows them to lift more weight without worrying about their hands slipping or being covered in blisters and calluses."
The new Big Grip comes in two versions. The first features Harbinger’s patented WristWrap technology for maximum support and stability. The second features an elastic wristband that provides a customized fit and is for those lifters who don’t need quite as much wrist support. The gloves are made of machine washable and air-dry leather. With each spin in the washer the leather becomes more supple and comfortable. Washing away the dirt and grime also helps the gloves last longer, while maintaining their originial shape and fit. The gloves also feature Harbinger’s patented NoSweat Lining, the unique Moisture Management System that keeps hands cool, dry and comfortable during the toughest of workouts.
Harbinger Gloves are generally more snug-fitting than other gloves. The leather is designed to break in and stretch out over the life of the glove. If you are between two sizes, we recommend that you select the larger of the two sizes. If you prefer a looser fitting glove, we suggest that you buy one size larger than you typically wear. If you are truly uncertain as to your size, measure the circumference of your flat hand at the knuckles and use the chart below:
